How Printmaster judges sound.

Printmaster does not try to measure how loud, expensive, or technically complicated a soundtrack is. It tries to measure whether the sound is doing real dramatic work.

Perspective asks whether the soundtrack places us inside a mind, body, or space with intent. Narrative function asks whether sound is actually shaping story and emotion. Integration looks at how dialogue, effects, ambience, music and silence breathe together. Spatial design concerns width, depth, proximity and offscreen meaning. Originality asks the blunt question: does this sound authored, or inherited?
