Printmaster listening trail

Where music and sound meet.

Soundtracks that refuse to keep score, atmosphere and physical event in separate boxes.

The conventional categories remain useful for credits and production, but spectators do not always hear their borders. This trail follows films in which rhythm, drone, noise, voice and score exchange functions until the question is no longer which department made a sound, but what the whole construction is doing.
